Does Actress Hayden Panettiere Have Tattoo Regret?

Does actress Hayden Panettiere have tattoo regret? Not really, but the actress does wish that she had spell-checked an Italian phrase that translates into “live life without regrets” before having it tattooed on her body.

The blonde actress learned of the misspelling while on a recent trip to Italy.

Ladies: Here’s What Your Tramp Stamp Might be Saying About You…

A new French research study finds that women with tattoos are more likely to be picked up if they have visible body art.

In this study, the men didn’t think the tattoos made a woman more attractive, but they believed she would be a more receptive candidate for their flirtations than a woman without a tattoo.

Laser Tattoo Removal Businesses are on the Rise

Which came first the tattoo studio or the tattoo removal studio? The answer may surprise many people.

The business of laser tattoo removal is booming. Often, laser removal studio proprietors have no previous experience in the tattoo industry. A relatively quick training and certification process provides them with the qualifications to perform laser tattoo removal, a procedure that was once only performed in a physician’s office.

Revenue from tattoo removal industry has reportedly increased at an annual rate of 20.9% per year from 2007 to 2012, to a total of $66 million in revenue.

Consumers prefer laser tattoo removal studios to physicians’ offices for several reasons. Most insurance does not cover tattoo removal, and the laser procedure is much more expensive when performed in a doctor’s office. A tattoo usually requires a minimum of 6 laser treatments. When performed by a doctor, the price can range between $400-$800 per visit, but when the same procedure is performed in a laser removal studio, the price ranges from between $90-$400 per visit, depending on the size of the tattoo.

Portsmouth Tattoo Studio Testimonial

Best Tattoo Shop in Rhode Island

"I have 3 tattoos so far: a big feathers/flying birds rib tattoo done by Marc, a quote on my ribs done by Kristina and a crescent moon on my foot done at another shop and by far the work I've had done at Inflicting is 10x better than the other shop I went to. They're more professional, the pricing is incredibly fair, and they really work with you to figure out exactly how you want it. I always recommend Inflicting to anyone who asks. I will be returning soon to have my foot fixed because it looks like shit!" Mary R. March 2013

Tattoo Removal ~ The Women Beat the Men

In a study conducted by the Texas Tech University Health Services Center, researchers found that significantly more women seek tattoo removal than men, a startling 69% compared to only 31% of men.

Why are there more women who want tattoo removal than men?

The study was conducted on two separate occasions, once in 1996 and again in 2006, and while in both instances the reasons for wanting tattoo removal had elements in wanting to forget the past, in the 2006 study, more women than men were seeking tattoo removal because of the feeling that they were under stricter standards socially and in the business world for visible tattoos. Women were more likely to want their tattoos in areas where they had control over who could see them and when, so body site placement issues were foremost for them.

Those who do seek tattoo removal only comprise about 6% of the total tattooed population, with most waiting upwards of 10 years before having the tattoo removed.

If you have a tattoo that you would like removed, you don't have to wait 10 years. Inflicting Ink Tattoo offers state of the art laser tattoo removal with payment plans equivalent to the cost of getting a tattoo. Contact them today at (401) 683-5680 for a consultation appointment or just stop by the Portsmouth RI studio during normal business hours.

Jeff Goyette Bio

Jeff Goyette was born and raised in Massachusetts where tattooing was illegal, and to this day is only allowed on a per community basis, with each community deciding for themselves whether to allow it or not. Jeff still wanted to be a tattoo artist, and so learned his trade and took it on the road with the tattoo tour where he continued his tattoo education through coursework and tour experience.

In 1993 Jeff opened Inflicting Ink Tattoo Studio in Portsmouth RI as a way to get out of touring and establish some roots in the community. He has been in this location for 17 years. After a few years in the shop however, he wanted to use his traveling experience to be able to bring tattooing to people who might not have the chance to get to a brick-and-mortar shop.

So he built the Inflicting Ink Traveling Tattoo truck, over 73 feet of truck housing a state of the art, sterile, mobile tattoo facility ~ there is nothing else like it on the planet, literally, as the Guiness Book of World Records has named it the largest tattoo facility in the world, but simply has no category to place it in.

The truck travels to fairs, events, concerts, and even does private parties, drawing large crowds and those who do not have access to a local tattoo studio for their body art. Jeff loves when he can give back to a community, and often simply brings the truck to draw in numbers at charity events whenever possible, whether any tattooing will be done or not.

He and his artists model their work on the belief that a customer should always feel that they have received a quality piece of art, that the work is consistent, and that they can be proud of their tattoo as well as where it came from.
